We are looking for a motivated and talented Associate WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our clients’ WordPress websites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for a variety of clients.
- Implement custom themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of designs and functionality.
- Manage website updates, including WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Conduct website migrations and deployments as needed.
- Ensure that all websites are secure, backed up, and up to date.
- Stay current with the latest WordPress developments, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor Pro, WP Bakery, etc.
- Familiarity with hosting, server management, domain management, and SSL.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, and Yoast SEO.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
