Project Overview
CPOS is a company specializing in optimizing online ordering and point-of-sale (POS) systems for small-to-midsize businesses. By simplifying transaction complexities and enhancing the efficiency of online ordering and POS operations, CPOS aims to foster sustainable growth and competitiveness in the digital marketplace.
The client approached us seeking a comprehensive UX and UI revamp for their online portal, which is utilized by salespeople and agents to manage their POS system sales. The existing user interface was outdated and experiencing several usability issues, hampering user efficiency and satisfaction.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was to redesign the CPOS portal to improve user experience and create a modern, efficient interface that would streamline sales processes for agents and salespeople. Key pain points included:
Outdated and non-intuitive user interface.
Usability issues leading to inefficient workflows.
Need for a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across platforms.
Requirement for enhanced mobile and tablet responsiveness.
Our Approach
Research and UX Audit
We conducted thorough research to understand user needs and business objectives and performed a UX audit on the current designs to identify accessibility issues and user journey pain points.
Design and Prototypin
We created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the basic structure and flow of the redesigned interface and developed high-fidelity prototypes to visualize the final design and gather feedback from stakeholders
Usability Testing
Conducted usability tests with real users to ensure the redesigned interface met their needs and expectations and iterated on the design based on user feedback to refine the user experience.
